Welcome To Our Website
The Columbus Lions Club was organized in 1976 and was granted a charter by Lions Clubs International on June 16th, 1976.
We currently have 24 men and women members.
Our meetings are on the first and third Wednesday of the month at the Lions Club meeting room in Columbus behind the public works building at 6:30pm.
Lions International and the men and women of our club are from all walks of life and have one motto "We Serve".
We raise money to fund our projects. All of our administrative costs are covered by dues paid by the members. Every penny of the money raised by our projects goes to support the charities selected by club members.

Columbus Fall Fest was an Awesome Day!
Columbus Fall Fest was
a great success! The Columbus Lions would like to thank all who helped with
this - from those who donated the raffle and garage sale items, to those who
came and bought them, and everyone in between. Congratulations to the winners of
our raffle items!
This event truly is
all about community spirit, cooperation and celebration. The Columbus fire
department staff opened their doors and shared their space, gave tours of the
building and the fire trucks; always a kid pleaser.
The Columbus Elementary PTO offered up
some fun by providing kids games. Councilman Denny Peterson put together the
antique car and tractor show. The Lions had an extraordinary face painter so
the kids could be transformed into whatever their hearts desired.
The Columbus CPTO also had family runs at the
school which went really well.
Everyone found
something to satisfy their appetites. There was Senior Center Chili, crafts and
a clothing sale, the Lions served roast beef sandwich meals, polish and hot
dogs. The garage sale celebrated it’s twentieth year this year and many people
found new treasures to bring home!
The Lions would like to thank Waldoch Sports, Hoffmans Custom Cabinets, Jerry's RCs, Flannery Construction, Keys Cafe, L&R Auto, Ace Hardware, BP Gas, William O'Brian State Park, Waldoch Farms, and all the other people who generously donated to us to make this a great day for everyone! Thank You All!
